Love the game and I just want more reasons to keep playing :) it could truly be my favourite roguelite game of all time. It could also be things like starting with less health, gain less ammo, no health drops from normal enemies, more monster spawns etc. I die quite frequently in act 3 thou. This game is in early access, still under development. We see it via elite spawns and mini bosses on the harder diffs. (In my opinion) Problems with current difficulties: The higher diff is only hard in act 3. For example slay the spire or Monster train. Leap onto a motherfucker and unload into his head. When we take into account the already heavily skewed RNG for obtaining scrolls, things that worked somewhat, or even great in lower difficulties are a waste of a drop in Nightmare. Surely, if it I were playing with premades and someone's intentionally playing as support or tank, these stats are fine. Without an extremely good build, and strong weapons, the difficulty ramp from Act 1 to Act 2 is insane. Deflection shield has also always been underwhelming. Przebijemy każdą ofertę. I too am hoping for set scroll or chest spawns along with random ones. I have come to rely on talisman, anytime they drop in nightmare. Fears about future difficulties: Worried we get just 1 new difficulty + some “make your own difficulty”-stuff. Take Deflection Shield for instance. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. They're aware of this, or they wouldn't have adjusted elements of Act 2 already. This is a great post, I have far fewer hours, maybe around 60 but have also progressed into nightmare. Try using anything except shock guns with that elite arsonist and you either spend 15 mins jumping around slowly killing him or get wiped in 20 seconds. Remnant: From the Ashes is an all-new survival action shooter from Gunfire Games, available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2019. #Feelsbadman. I went through all of the 1st Act playing with a friend and we got one vault in the entire act. My issue though, is that even if the amount of bons is fixed per run, getting a late first bon, or in worst case: getting elite arson that usually tanks your entire magazine, is significantly harder than anything else. I'd rather vaults work like other roguelikes such as Binding of Isaac where the "secret rooms" are a guaranteed quantity. Got 40h and had a blast. You're not supposed to win every run. I was excited to have to fight and grind to beat even the first boss (just like the beginning of the game) but I have never lost to either first or second boss on highest diff. That’s good. I'd agree that arson are rather buffed and are the most dangerous run killers of the patch, but I'd say you could get through stage 2 without an insane build. I'm pretty much always bird at this point and with any of the damage ascendancy and a halfway decent shotgun- I eat arsonists by myself. You arent supposed to need every element, sure armor is tough to get through with a shock gun but it will work. Multiple hard alternative missions and bosses that both unlocks new things but also provides many additional hours due to being very challenging. No one is asking to pass the challenge every time. All rights reserved. The game wouldn't be enjoyable if it was a cakewalk. We need long lasting difficulties. A lot of enemies have some difficult scaling, but everyone knows Arsonists are a league of their own. We've had plenty of runs were guns, scrolls, and ascensions just never rolled well for us, and we had a huge problem with them. Each tier adding something small. It is a must have because you can use every element, but this goes against everything else leading up to this point. I think maybe we're just playing the game very differently and I'm having much more success with arsonist because of it. It's also possible that with more weapons/inscriptions/scrolls the balance will work itself out eventually. The big change is to meet mobs with more resistance, traps in normal areas and a higher probability of spawning elites without being in the vault. It's an INCREDIBLY polished early access game, especially considering the size of the team and language disconnect. I'm pretty much in the same boat, a couple hundred hours in, a capped file for solo and another one with my multiplayer playgroup and a handful of nightmare wins under my belt. Let's dive in. Or they are not implemented yet? It's a roguelite, you're not supposed to run rampant over everything. With more enemies spawning, many times right on top of you, there's often no safe spot on the map to maintain enough distance to make this scroll anything more than a deathtrap.
