The time , the quarter and haft hour melody all work fine. A good cleaning and oiling by a clock tech would correct this. My grandmother clock chimes on the quarter hour and the minute hand and chime is in sync for the Westminster chimes. QUESTION: We have a Howard Miller grandfather clock we purchased in 1978. Perhaps I’ll live with it like this for a while then get somebody to look at it. again at 1 o’clock strikes on the quarters once. This has happened both last night and again this morning.
